Privacy Policy
onKlockIO · draft, last updated 14 October 2026
The app collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no third-party SDK. What you do in the app stays on your device. This website stores one thing: the email address you choose to give the Android waitlist.
The app
onKlockIO records the papers you time so it can show you your own history and which topics are costing you time. That record is kept in the app's own storage on your device. It consists of:
- which paper you sat, when you started it, how long it ran, and how it was set up (mode, extra time, format);
- how long you spent on each question, including return visits;
- which questions you marked as answered;
- any syllabus topics you attached to a question yourself;
- your settings, such as the exam you are preparing for, an optional sitting date, and whether time alerts are on.
None of it is sent anywhere. The app contains no networking code, no analytics,
no crash reporting and no advertising identifier. Its privacy manifest declares
no tracking and no collected data. The one system API it declares is
UserDefaults (reason CA92.1), which it uses to keep your settings on your device.
The app does not sync. If iCloud Backup is on, the app's data is included in your device backup, like any other app's. That backup is between you and Apple.
Time alerts are scheduled by iOS on your device. The app has no push server. The share and rate buttons open Apple's own share sheet and rating prompt, and do nothing unless you tap them.
CSV exports are created on your device and handed to the share sheet. Where the file goes after that is up to you.
This website
The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
- Android waitlist. If you join, we store your email address and the time you signed up, in Cloudflare's storage. We use them for one thing: to email you once when onKlockIO is available on Android. They are deleted after that email is sent, or sooner if you ask.
- Request logs. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as IP address, browser and the page requested, to serve the site and protect it. This is Cloudflare's processing under its privacy policy. We don't add to it, and we don't use it to identify visitors.
Deleting your data
In the app, Settings → Delete all data removes every session, timing and tag at once. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Nothing ever left your device, so there is no other copy.
To take your email off the waitlist, write to stevenm.aaron@icloud.com from that address, and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Any change to what is stored or sent will be described here before the version that makes it is released.
